Hi, I’m Nick Neal, a licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) based in West Columbia, South Carolina, with close to a decade of hands-on experience in land surveying. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Surveying and Mapping from East Tennessee State University and have spent my career working across a wide range of survey projects throughout South Carolina.
Before starting NG Surveying Services, I worked for several respected surveying firms, gaining extensive experience in boundary surveys, residential lot surveys, residential & commercial construction layout, topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, and more. That background allows me to approach each project with a strong technical foundation and an eye for accuracy, efficiency, and clear communication.
I grew up around skilled trades and engineering. My grandfather was an iron worker, and my mother is a Professional Engineer. Being exposed to that world early on taught me the importance of precision, accountability, and taking pride in your work.
Today NG Surveying Services focuses exclusively on the residential market, working directly with homeowners, real estate professionals, builders, and attorneys. By staying locally owned and owner-operated, I’m able to provide personal service, responsive communication, and dependable turnaround times.
